There is enough reduction present that I would recommend decanting this if you're going to try a bottle before the wine matures. There is excellent richness, size, weight and muscularity to the medium-bodied flavors that brim with dry extract that imparts a seductive mouth feel to the long and youthfully austere finale where a hint of bitter cherry appears. This is a concentrated and backward Boudots that should amply reward mid to longer-term cellaring but make no mistake as it's definitely going to need it as this is presently on the slightly tough side.

Medium red. Subdued but pure aromas of blueberry, dark cherry and spicy oak. Juicy, tight and intense, with red berry and chocolate flavors accented by pepper and herbs. Offers attractive flesh and sweetness, finishing with a slightly herbal aspect along with oak and menthol notes. This should evolve slowly.
